Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fun & Games by Purposedit (“the Service”), operated by Purposedit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including hosts (tenants who create and run games) and players (participants who join game sessions).

2. The Service

Fun & Games by Purposedit provides a hosted interactive game platform accessible at funandgames.purposedit.com. Hosts create and manage game sessions — including Trivia Quiz, Survey Showdown, and QuizDrop formats. Players join sessions using a join code on any device and participate in real time or at their own pace depending on the game type.

3. Hosts / Tenant Accounts

Hosts create accounts to build and run game sessions. As a host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• Take responsibility for all game content you upload, including questions, answers, and media. You represent that you have the rights to use any content you upload.
• Not upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized access.

Subscription and Billing

Host accounts may be subject to a subscription fee, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Purposedit reserves the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

4. Players

Players join game sessions using a join code provided by the host. As a player, you agree to:

• Use the Service in good faith. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to gain an unfair advantage.
• Not harass, threaten, or disrupt other players or hosts during a game session, including through your display name or any in-game input.
• Understand that a phone number entered for a QuizDrop prize will be used solely to contact you if you win, and for no other purpose.

Players may join games without creating an account, using only a display name. Optional login verification (email) may be required by the host for certain sessions.

5. Intellectual Property

Purposedit owns all rights to the Fun & Games platform, including its design, codebase, branding, and technology. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the platform to you.

Hosts retain ownership of the game content they create (questions, answers, and other original material). By uploading content to the Service, you grant Purposedit a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Purposedit does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Purposedit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Purposedit in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
